Hi everybody! This is Tanner & Gavin. We thought we would give our mommy the day off. We are trying really hard to be good little boys, we haven't made very many messes ;) and we promise that the crayons have only been used on paper. There is a little bit of yogurt on the wall but that was only an accident. Our mommy has been taking care of Huggie but right now she is laying on the couch. You see, huggie is what we boys want our mommy and daddy to name our new baby who will be born in April. Yep, baby number 3 is in mommies tummy.
*This babies name will NOT be huggie, that is just what Tanner really wants :)

I........
I am...a wife and mother, nothing could be better than that!
I think... that my children are growing up to fast
I know...I am far from perfect as a mother, but I am trying very hard
I want... my kids to find great happiness and success in their life
I have... a wonderful group of friends that make being away from family much easier.
I wish... that I could hop on a plane and go to Utah & New Jersey any time I wanted to
I hate... when I have no control over things.
I miss... my family and friends in Utah & New Jersey
I fear.... that something will happen to my husband or children that I have no control over
I feel... excited about what lies ahead in life
I hear... the ticking of the kitchen clock and the whirring of the ceiling fan...it's 1:15 am here :)
I smell... rain....lots and lots of rain
I search... for ways to better the lives of my children
I wonder...what sweet thing Tanner is going to say tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that...
I regret...not finishing school...hopefully someday it will happen
I love... being a mommy. What an amazing blessing!
I care... about everyone around me...wish I could help everyone!
I always... double check all the doors at night and make sure they are locked and make sure my kids are covered before going to bed.
I am not... as romantic as my husband would like me to be....must be the lack of sleep and kids always being there.:)
I believe...that I am a child of God and that I am loved more than I know
I dance... with my kids all the time. They love it and thank heavens no one can see us.:)
I sing... whenever I can. I miss being in a choir :(
I don't always... have a clean house. That would be to easy
I write...down the funny things Tanner says so that I will always remember them
I win...when I get enough sleep to get through the next day without a nap
I lose... when I don't spend enough time with my children. Sometimes I forget about how important that time is to them
I never thought I would ... live across the country from my family
I listen... to the sweet children sing in Primary every Sunday. What a blessing my calling is!
I read... lots of emails, blogs, and occasionally a book meant for grownups
I am happy about... the choice I made to marry my husband. He is wonderful and still after 5 years he treats me like a queen. I am truly blessed

Gavin worth hav'n
So I have been told that I don't do enough posts with Gavin in them. I never noticed until it was pointed out. Gavin is such a sweet boy. He is growing up so quickly! He is almost 10 months old. Where has the time gone? This picture was taken a few days ago. I walked into the bedroom and there was Gavin laying on a pillow reading a book. We love our little grandpa Munster!
And this was taken about a month ago when we got his new pictures taken.

Chef boy-r-Tanner
Tanner is proving to be a wonderful helper in the kitchen lately. He loves to help me with anything and everything. Tonight we were making pigs-in-a-blanket for dinner and he wanted to do it all by himself. He did a great job, they were very yummy!

Also, the other day Tanner wanted me to play hide and seek with him. Playing this game is not one of his strong points. He is fabulous at board games and catches on very quickly, but he just can't seem to figure out games like hide and seek. He knows to run off while I count, but whenever I tell him that I am coming, he comes running into my arms. Well, when we played this time I told him that he needed to hide from me so that I could come find him, I told him to hide in a closet or under a bed.....This is what I found when I went hunting.....bless his sweet little heart.

Dolly and fishes and pools...oh my!
After a wonderful vacation we have returned to life as we know it. We had a fantastic time and wish we could have stayed longer. We went to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge Tennessee. We had never been there so it was a first for all of us. There is so much to see and do that we decided we will be going back every year. Here are a few (or alot) of pictures from our little getaway.
^This little church was across the street from our hotel. There were so many trees it was hard to see it but it was beautiful!
^The front door of the church
^Our little cheeser watching movies
^We spent one day at Dollywood. If you ever get the chance, you have to go. It was fabulous! This was one of the stores there.
^There are lots of fun waterfalls at Dollywood.
^There is a section that looks like an old town complete with old cars. We had to take a picture of Great-grandma June and this old Chevy because that was her first car. Same color and everything.
^

^This is the old Grist Mill at Dollywood
^We were walking along and Tanner told me that there was a car in a tree. I thought he was mistaken but when I looked up, this was what I saw. (Not exactly a car but close enough)

^Dollywood shops continued
This is the little church at Dollywood. I thought it gave the perfect opportunity for a picture. I love it!
^There is a shop where they make wagons and handcarts. It was amazing to watch the people making them while we watched
^Tanner and a beautiful buggy
This is the Dollywood Express. It takes you on a ride up into the Great Smoky Mountains. This was one of Tanner's favorite parts.
^There is a little section called "County Fair" where all the rides are for little kids. Tanner loved riding the bee.
^On Wednesday we went to Ripley's Aquarium. What a great place! There is so much to do and see. This is just one of the awesome fish we saw
^I couldn't resist taking a picture of this fish laying on the glass. You really get to see his whole face!
^Here comes Jaws :)
^Tanner got to touch a stingray
^Jellyfish
^This is a weird picture of a jellyfish
^Strangely enough, this is the first seahorse any of us had seen. It was fascinating.
^More of the aquarium.
^All over Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge there are trolleys that take you where ever you want to go. We took the trolley the day we went to the Aquarium.
^Tanner & Michael waiting for the trolley
^Even though the water was really cold, we went swimming a few times. This was our last night there. Not exactly the greatest photo but it will do.

8.8.08 @ 8:00
I look forward to this time of year every four years...the summer olympics. I love watching every event weather it's diving, swimming, track, volleyball, rowing, etc. It is so much fun to cheer on the United States and I even enjoy experiencing the triumphs of other countries. I got to experience the olympics in 2004 in a different way. I actually knew one of the athletes personally. She was a bridesmaid of mine and is still a dear friend. She was on the womens rowing team that took silver in Athens. It was so enjoyable to sit in front of the TV, not only cheering on the USA, but cheering on Megan.
This year will also be different from other years. I now get the opportunity to introduce my own child to the excitement and power of the olympics. Tanner was still in my tummy four years ago, although I am sure he felt my excitement when I was jumping up and down cheering for Megan and the rest of the olympians. We have talked a little about what he will get to see, he is very excited to watch the boys do gymnastics and also the swimmers. Maybe he will get excited to continue with gymnastics even though he doesn't like being the only boy. Maybe in 20 years we will get to be at the olympics in person cheering Tanner on. ( A mother can always dream).
I hope that by the 24th of August, when the summer olympics are over until 2012, Tanner will understand the importance and the excitement. I sure hope so.
I have included a video montage of the Athens olympics..maybe it will build your excitement for Friday night. GO USA!!
