After a wonderful vacation we have returned to life as we know it. We had a fantastic time and wish we could have stayed longer. We went to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge Tennessee. We had never been there so it was a first for all of us. There is so much to see and do that we decided we will be going back every year. Here are a few (or alot) of pictures from our little getaway.
^This little church was across the street from our hotel. There were so many trees it was hard to see it but it was beautiful!

^We spent one day at Dollywood. If you ever get the chance, you have to go. It was fabulous! This was one of the stores there.
^There are lots of fun waterfalls at Dollywood.
^There is a section that looks like an old town complete with old cars. We had to take a picture of Great-grandma June and this old Chevy because that was her first car. Same color and everything.

^We were walking along and Tanner told me that there was a car in a tree. I thought he was mistaken but when I looked up, this was what I saw. (Not exactly a car but close enough)
^Dollywood shops continued
This is the little church at Dollywood. I thought it gave the perfect opportunity for a picture. I love it!
^There is a shop where they make wagons and handcarts. It was amazing to watch the people making them while we watched
^Tanner and a beautiful buggy
This is the Dollywood Express. It takes you on a ride up into the Great Smoky Mountains. This was one of Tanner's favorite parts.
^There is a little section called "County Fair" where all the rides are for little kids. Tanner loved riding the bee.
^On Wednesday we went to Ripley's Aquarium. What a great place! There is so much to do and see. This is just one of the awesome fish we saw
^I couldn't resist taking a picture of this fish laying on the glass. You really get to see his whole face!

^Strangely enough, this is the first seahorse any of us had seen. It was fascinating.

^All over Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge there are trolleys that take you where ever you want to go. We took the trolley the day we went to the Aquarium.

^Even though the water was really cold, we went swimming a few times. This was our last night there. Not exactly the greatest photo but it will do.

nat it looks like you had so much fun! a vacation would be nice! i keep thinking we should get away somewhere before aiden boo gets here, but i just dont know where the time would come from, or the MONEY! Fun pictures!

Oh how fun! I want to buy that car from Grandma...what a cool place! We never got to Dollywood, sounds like fun!
