Zachary's Blessing Outfit

I took pictures of Zach in his blessing outfit a few days early because we have church at 9:00 and getting three little boys ready for church and getting there on time is hard enough without having to take pictures in the process. After church we are having a few (ok, not a few, more like 40) people over for a luncheon so I knew I had to take pictures now or they would have never gotten done. Poor Zach was drowning in is outfit, it is 0-3 mths and he is still in newborns. Oh well, he still looked adorable.

Little Man Zach

I am not sure why I have not been taking as many pictures of Zach as I did with the other boys. I think being the mom to three boys has something to do with finding time to take pictures but I am only guessing :)
I took the opportunity to take a few pictures of little man while his eyes were open, a sight we rarely see at our house. Because he was so early and wasn't due until last week he is still in the newborn sleep all day mode.
He is such a sweet boy and we love having him in our family. His brothers are madly in love with him and cannot give enough kisses and squeezes.

I am so happy that I took the pictures when I did because after 5 or 6 right in a row......
He fell asleep, again :)

Not much

Well, I would have posted sooner but there was a slight problem....there has been nothing to post about! We have not done anything fun or remotely interesting in a few weeks. I get the feeling that not many people check out my blog anymore, either that or everyone has stopped commenting. :)
I promise to have an interesting post next Sunday, if not sooner, because Zachary is getting blessed next week. I am getting really excited to dress him in his cute little outfit. Zach is growing and growing. He is so sweet and snuggly. He is almost 7 weeks old and he weighs a whopping 8 lbs. now. He is still in newborn clothes and even they are a little big on him. OK, I cannot think of anything else to write...maybe that is the reason all my blog friends have disappeared...I think I am boring...lol

We love our ward!

We had the funnest ward party on Saturday night. I have never seen the kids have more fun. We went to the home of one of the ward members. They have 15 acres and there was so much for the kids to do. I am not sure what Tanner thought the best part was, he was pretty excited with everything. This sweet family has horses and all the kids got to go for a ride. After the horse Bro. Ashby got his truck out. The great part is that his truck has a race car engine in it. No kidding! It was so loud and the kids loved every minute of it. He piled them all in the back, front, and even between the front seats on the floor (that's where Tanner was..lol) and took them for quite a fun ride. The kids were so happy when they were finished, but that wasn't all. Next came the hay ride. I am not sure Tanner has ever had such a great night. He has not stopped talking about it. Man, we love our ward!!Tanner's first horse ride.

I was not sure how Gavin would have reacted on the rides. He had just as much fun wandering around eating dirt...lol

This is the very cool truck. I love this picture with all the kids piled in.

They all waved goodbye as they drove off :)
And the great hayride in the woods topped it off.

Grow where you are planted

That is what I said to my new plants as I was putting them in the ground today..lol
I just hope that they listen to me. I am afraid they are going to die because I have never been able to keep anything alive. We have lived in our house for 2 years and these are the first plants I have even attempted to put in the ground. I know it doesn't look like much but the lady at Lowe's promised me that they would grow and get a lot bigger. We planted Rhododendrons (those are the taller all green bushes) and white star something, I am not sure of the name right now. The little plant in the front is Tanner's. He wanted to pick something out for himself and he found Lamb's Ear (that's what they call it). He planted it himself. I am looking forward to everything getting bigger and the white star things to spread. It is going to look great in a few years, if I can just keep everything alive.

These are the Rhododendrons.

These are the White Star thingys..lol

This is Tanner's Lambs ear plant. The leaves are soooo soft

Easter fun!

It has been such a fun weekend! Being a mom at Easter is a great experience. Watching the boys enjoy finding eggs was a riot. The pictures are backwards so please forgive me. Sundays pictures are before Saturdays. The weekend started with a party at our friends house. Our friend went all out with eggs and surprises for the kids to find in the yard.
Today has been great and I hope you all enjoy the pictures. There are many :)

Tanner, Gavin, and Zachary in their new Easter clothes.

Zachary looked so cute in his outfit. I have waited quite a while to put these cute overalls on him.

Gavin loves to have his picture taken. He now says "cheese" when he sees the camera come out. The lovely scratch below his eye is a battle wound from wrestling with Tanner

Zachary again in his overalls

Last Easter Gavin was only 5 months old. It was so great to see him get excited finding eggs today.

Tanner has been counting down to this day for a while now. You can tell from his bucket that he is quite the egg finder.

Tanner has been talking about golfing ever since we went miniature golfing in Tennessee last year. He was so happy to see his own golf clubs from the Easter Bunny.

Gavin on the hunt

Gavin playing in the fountain at our friends house yesterday. All the little kids loved playing in the water

Gavin found a thing of playdoh during the egg hunt on Saturday and then sat on the lawn trying to eat it. He was fine with just one little treasure

I asked Tanner to smile for a picture and he told me he wanted to pose instead. This is his pose. Crazy boy

Gavin and his playdoh

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Growing Up!

We love our little Gavin man. He is such a sweet boy and he is so loving. Since having Zach I have notice Gavin growing up faster and faster.
I have been putting off cutting his hair because his hair is so fine and soft, I was afraid of making him look bald. Well, I finally did it today. He is so cute!! Here is a before and after.

BEFORE:

AFTER: (The best after shot just happened to have Tanner in it :)

Also another first in his life....he got put on timeout today for hitting. So sweet

I had to add this pic in there because it only took us 3 weeks to get all three boys together in a picture. We are so blessed.

1 little, 2 little, 3 little Stone boys :)

Is it just me or is it harder to get things done when you have children? You don't have to answer that, I think I know the answer :)
I feel like I haven't been staying on top of my blog and I am sorry. I know I could be worse at it but I still feel guilty.
Here are a few pictures to hold you over until I can get something a little more exciting and fun on here. Zach is just over 3 weeks old and doing great! He came home weighing 6 lbs 2 oz and now weighs 6 lbs 13 oz. He is still tiny but he is getting bigger and filling out more every day.

Yesterday we had the missionaries over for lunch between sessions of conference. One of Tanner's favorite elder's let Tanner wear his tag. You can see how excited Tanner was. I asked him where he wanted to go when he was called as a missionary and he told me he was going to go to the temple where his mom and dad were married..lol...he is so cute!
I love this picture. It shows the curiosity that Gavin has. He is such a sweet boy. Gavin has turned into moms little buddy. He follows me around everywhere and blows kisses to me to make sure I know he is there. He is so interested in everything! He will open every cupboard or drawer he can get his hands on. He is much more curious than Tanner was at that age.
