A walk in the park....

It was a B-E-A-U-tiful day today so we took the boys to the park. We packed a lunch and enjoyed playing on the playground, playing ball, and relaxing in the shade. Tanner enjoyed every minute of it.
Gavin has only turned over about 5 times but he can get his knees underneath himself and move. It is crazy!

We took grandma June with us to the park and she took this picture for us.
Gavin is doing so well at sitting up. He will be 6 months old on Thursday
Tanner got a new ball at the store last week and he was very excited to take it to the park to play.

Gavin has the sweetest smile and he was
very happy to be outside.

Sleep....Sleep.....Sleep

It seems that we have a little sleeper on our hands.
Tanner can and will sleep anywhere!
Grandma June's recliner. We moved it into the family room
last week because I couldn't lay down in bed after surgery.
Tanner thought it was awesome that it moves up and down.
I came home from the store a few weeks ago to find Tanner in our bed with Gavin's boppy pillow and looking like he was praying. SO CUTE!
And this was about a month ago at about 5:00 pm when he fell asleep watching TV in the family room. He will sleep anywhere except for in his bed when we want him to. He is such a sweet boy. We are definitely blessed!!!

Home from the hospital

Hey ya'll! This is just a little update to let you all know that I (Natalie) am home from the hospital.
Some of you didn't even know that I was there. On Sunday afternoon after church I started having horrible pain in my stomach and sides. I knew what the pain was because I have been having problems with my gallbladder since I had Gavin. Usually I can take meds and the pain goes away.
Well by 5 am Monday morning it was excruciating! Michael called 911 and I was taken to the ER. They gave me a ton of pain medicine and did some tests and found out that my gallbladder was full of stones and I was also suffering from Pancreatitis. I was admitted to the hospital and on Tuesday they sedated me and put a scope down my throat to clean out my pancreas and see if I had any stones in my pancreas. There were no stones but because of the gallbladder problems they had to clean alot of stuff out of my pancreas. On Wednesday afternoon I was taken to surgery and they took out my gallbladder. I was released this morning and I am in a lot of pain but I feel much better. Thankfully I have the most amazing friends who took care of my kids and made sure that they were happy. Michael had to work this week and couldn't get off so we are extremely grateful that we live in the ward that we do.

Brothers

I took the boys to get their picture taken together for the first time.
They were so good! They totally cooperated
This is my favorite. Tanner had no problem with Gavin being on his back.
These are just the proofs. When I get the real pictures you can see more of Tanner's
legs and feet.

Our "BIG" boy

Gavin had his 4 month check-up today. He now weighs 15 lbs. and is 26 inches tall.
When Tanner was 4 months old he weighed 8 lbs. It is hard for me to believe that Gavin weighing 15 lbs is normal but the doctor assured me that he is right where he should be.
Gavin is such a sweet little boy and we are extremely blessed to have him in our family!
