Our lovely life!

There have been a few things going on at our house the last week. I have just been very lazy and haven't posted them :)
Tanner had his first day of speech, which to him was like going to school so he had to wear his "best school clothes." He was so excited.

As for being pregnant...well it pretty much sucks the last few weeks. I know that I truly have 6 weeks left but my body knows that this baby will be here in 2 weeks. All the pains that show themselves the last few weeks have taken over this pregnant lady. I am not sure why I am doing this but I have included a picture. I look like a big black innertube.

OK, now to the fun(or not so fun) part. Yesterday at 5:00 pm the weather decided to throw us some fun. Now I know that my last post about snow was pretty much laughed at, but you have to give us credit for this one. Right after we ate dinner last night the power went out for about 3 hours. My kids were extremely bored. They didn't think that playing with their toys by flashlight was such a good idea. Tanner decided that if there wasn't going to be any light then he was just going to go to bed. He was asleep by 7:00. He woke up around 9:00 (nice nap that kept him up until 12:30) and we played Blokus by candlelight for about 20 minutes until the lights came back on. I was so happy. I would have made the crankiest pioneer.
So, enjoy the pictures. Tanner wants to go out and play in it but being that we never have snow, Tanner doesn't have a coat. His jacket is not warm enough for me to let him out. He just sits in front of the french doors and watches it melt. I am so mean!

I can't believe how different weather is in different parts of the states. Your snow storm is a small storm for us. Nothing shuts down here for snow ever!! We got 3 feet of snow and below zero temps and they still hold school. It is crazy. You look great and you are almost done, so I'm sure it make it that much better. Enjoy your spring snow!!

The reason everything shuts down is because we never have snow! I don't think it has snowed more than three times in the 4 years we have lived here. This is definitely the most we have had :)
