Easter Fun
Gavin was so cute watching Tanner run around the family room. The Easter Bunny brought him a very soft duck and a cute shirt that says "Milk Man"....We love our little old man!Easter morning was so much fun with a three year old. Tanner was great at finding the eggs. Apparently the Easter Bunny thought that he should make it really easy. Well after 4 minutes all 25 eggs were found. (Make it harder next year Mr. Bunny!)

What A Wonderful Day!
We had the opportunity to go to a friends house and have an Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ. It was such a beautiful day with the temp around 75 degrees that I had to put both boys in shorts. Gavin looked so cute! I have included a few pictures of Tanner having a blast looking for eggs. He has been so excited for Easter this year and it has been so much fun to listen to him talk about it. I have been hit with this wonderful feeling of being a mother and watching Tanner's face light up with talk of first Christmas and now Easter. It is an amazing feeling. I have also posted a few pics of Tanner and Gavin in their very cute almost matching outfits. I love my boys!

Funny but true!
You know you live in Utah if...
1-Someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they don't work there.
2-You've worn shorts and a parka at the same time.
3-You've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed the wrong number.
4-"Vacation" meand going anywhere south of Salt Lake City for the weekend.
5-You measure distance in hours.
6-You have switched from "heat" to "A/C" and back to "heat" in the same day.
7-You install security lights on your house and garage but leave both unlocked.
8-You can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching.
9-You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit.
10-The speed limit on the highway is 75 mph, you're going 80 and everyone is still passing you.
11-Driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow.
12-You know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction.
13-You find 10 degrees "a little chilly"
14-You actually understand these jokes.

a little cranky.
So we are back from our little outing to Utah. I am very happy to be home. Traveling with 2 little kids alone is very hard work. Everything that could go wrong basically did. From almost crashing while landing in Atlanta to the rental car company screwing up my reservation in Vegas, Tanner got the Flu, Gavin didn't sleep because it wasn't home, I got a head cold which turned into a chest cold which has now caused me to loose my voice. Tanner threw up in the rental car 3 times and then threw up twice on the way home. Once in the airplane and once at the airport.
We will chalk this vacation up to experience and never try it again.
I do have to say that my sister's wedding was beautiful and everything went smoothly there. Except of course Tanner screaming through all the pictures.
