Busy Little Bees!

My goodness, we have been so busy at our house. We had a surprise party for Grandma June on Friday night. It was so much fun. She was very surprised. My mom even flew in just for the occation and Grandma knew nothing about it.
As soon as I get all the pictures from our friend Rich, I will post them all.
To add to all the craziness, after some crazy lightening storms my computer hard drive fried and I lost everything. It took a few days but we are back up and running...on my new laptop. I really like this :)

Temple Trip w/ Primary

On Saturday Tanner and I had the opportunity to go to the Temple with our ward Primary.
It was a great experience for Tanner, even though he was a little on the grouchy side :(

Before we went in the Temple we all had a picnic lunch at the Temple

Tanner took this picture. He was very proud of himself

Some of the beautiful flowers on the grounds

The Primary kids and their parents..minus Tanner because he was throwing a fit off to the side :(

I asked Tanner if I could take a picture of his grumpy face..he was trying not to laugh :)

Extra! Extra! Read All About It!!

Natalie Stone actually took pictures!!

We had the best FHE tonight! We took the boys and grandma to downtown Greenville and played in the kids waterfall/fountain feature. It was so much fun. Grandma June even took her wheelchair through the falls :)
There are a ton of pictures, but you know what they say...a picture says a thousand words ;)

I love this picture. The building on the left is just the shell of the building and they use it for charity events. I really want my family pictures taken inside.

I don't think he was having any fun, do you? ;)

A trip to Dairy Queen rounded out the fun evening. I think Gavin really enjoyed it :)

Our so called life

My goodness, I have been such a slacker! I guess I need something to blog about if I am going to post, right? Not much has happened around the Stone house in a while. Michael did start school last week and he is really enjoying himself. He has gotten 100% on all his assignments so far. We are also happy that he found a new job. Not all of you know that he was laid off in March and has been unable to find a job since. We are blessed to have wonderful friends looking out for us and one of them helped Michael find a new job. He starts tomorrow and he is so excited.
As for the boys, they are growing like weeds. We signed Tanner up for swimming lessons today and he is looking forward to that. Gavin is doing really well in Nursery, the only problem is that he thinks it is alright to steal snacks from the other little kids. We are working on fixing that problem.
Zach is just adorable and we love playing with him. Most of the time he just stares at us like we are loony but that's OK. As soon as we do something where the camera actually comes out of the diaper bag, I will make sure and post a few pictures. For now we just sit around staring at the walls ;)

Family Fun

Goodness, I feel like I have been running around like crazy. With doctors appointments, speech classes, church stuff, going to Curves and everyday mom stuff I have been so busy this past week.
Tanner had his first Dentist appointment yesterday and he loved it. Dr. Charles said that his teeth look fantastic. He was so happy. After the dentist we took Gavin and Zach to the doctor for their check-ups and shots. Now that was fun ;) Gavin weighs 26 lbs and it 32 inches tall. The doctor said that he is normal in his weight and above average in height. I wonder if they need a refresher on their chart reading because we thought Gavin would be above average in weight and below in height. Shows you how much we know. As for Zach, he weighs 10 lbs and is 23 inches. They are both doing great. Zach had a hard night with his shots but he is doing much better today. When I got home from the gym today we took the boys to the park. Gavin hates grass. It is so funny when he falls down because he lays there on his stomach and puts his arms and legs up in the air. He will not try to get himself up. We love our little monkey. Here are some pictures of things we have been doing the last few days.

Such sweet brothers!

Tanner with his treasures from the dentist. He told me that he would have to close his eyes if I wanted a big smile :)

We have a picture of Gavin laying on Grandma this same way. Wacky Zachy (that's what Tanner calls him) is such a sweet boy!

What can I say about this? Oh Gavin, we love you monkey!

Just lounging around

Walking with daddy

The difference in these two makes me laugh!

Playing soccer with a Spiderman ball..lol

That smile melts my heart!

It was time to go home..lol

OK, I didn't realize my sunglasses were on until I got home and downloaded this picture..oops!

Back to School

Michael is officially a student again. He decided yesterday that it was time. I have been encouraging him to go back for a few years now but he had to do it in his own time. He is going for his BS in Business Finance at the University of Phoenix. He is such a smart guy and I think he is really going to enjoy this. Because the nearest campus is 2 hours from our house, he will be doing this online. He is really looking forward to finishing in 40 months :) Way to go Michael! I am very proud of you!!

Zachary Got Blessed

We had a wonderful day today. Zachary's blessing was beautiful and it was great to have friends there with us. After church we had a luncheon and enjoyed spending time with everyone. With both mine and Michael's families living so far away, we are so blessed to have wonderful friends who support us and our family. We had about 50 people in our house and you could feel the love of friends and ward family. We wish our families could have been here but it is understandable since they live so far away. We love them and miss them every day. We are truly blessed!
